Specific dry reagent immunoassay strip tests for therapeutic drugs have been developed with the apoenzyme reactivation immunoassay system (ARIS). This simple and convenient method for measuring such analytes in human serum or plasma is described with assays for theophylline, phenytoin, and phenobarbital.
