In this paper , the structural and electronic properties of the tetragonal and cubic phases of methylammonium lead iodide (CH 3 NH 3 PbI 3 ) perovskites are investigated by DFT calculations. Mainly, the effects of substitution of anions and mixed anions (CH 3 NH 3 PbI 2 X) on the stability of the cubic phase perovskites are also reported.
