In this paper, Prof. I–Jy Chang and her group have demonstrated that ethidium is also perfect to assess low concentration of SDS. A simple color appearance provides rough SDS concentration range. Actual SDS concentration is determined from fast absorption spectra assay. More details about this work will be discussed on page 780–785.
