An effective strategy has been developed for rapid and efficient one pot synthesis of 2‐arylbenzothiazoles from readily available 2‐aminothiophenol and aromatic aldehydes catalyzed by TTBO in high yields and short reaction times. This strategy allows access to a structurally diverse array of products for further manipulation. The reactions were preceded under mild conditions to afford 2‐arylbenzothiazole derivatives. The pure products were identified and characterized by physical and spectroscopic data such as; IR, 1 H NMR and 13 C NMR.
