Solid‐state nuclear magnetic resonance (ss‐NMR) 13 C single‐pulse excitation spectroscopy with the magic‐angle spinning (MAS) technique was applied to a series of Phalaenopsis tissues, including the leaf, sheath, stem, and root, at different growth and spiking periods. Fingerprints of 13 C spectra provide the identification of various tissues and different species of Phalaenopsis . More discussions are presented in the article by Prof. Chien‐Chung Cheng et al . on page 1107∼1112.
