The synthesis of fifteen new N ‐glycosyl‐ N′ ‐(4‐arylthiazol‐2‐yl) aminoguanidines is described. Some of the synthesized guanidines displayed inhibitory activity against NOS or anti‐HIV‐1 PR activity. The structure of all new compounds was confirmed by MS, IR and 1 H NMR spectral data and elemental analyses.
