The synthesis of new dioxa‐cage compound 8 and diacetal trioxa‐cage compound 17 has been accomplished from dicyclopentadiene in a short sequence. A preliminary study on the π‐facial selectivity of 17 , which possesses a new rigid skeleton, is also reported.
