The investigations of the 1 H and 13 C resonances of a series of 9 shikimic acid derivatives were carried out using one‐ and two‐dimensional methods. 1 H and 13 C spectral data were assigned by DEPT, 1 H‐ 1 H COSY, HSQC, HMBC, and the stereo configuration was confirmed by 1D selective NOESY experiments.
