(Pyridine)(tetrahydroborato)zinc complex, (Py)Zn(BH 4 ) 2 , as a stable modification of zinc borohydride can easily reduce a variety of aromatic and aliphatic aldoximes or ketoximes to their corresponding amines in high to excellent yields in refluxing THF.
