The hexane extract of the aerial parts and roots of Limnophila indica yielded a new flavone, 3′,4′‐ethylenedioxy‐5‐hydroxy‐3‐(1‐hydroxy‐1‐methylethyl)‐6,7‐dimethyl‐5′‐methoxyflavone‐8‐carboxylic acid ( 1 ), characterized by spectral studies.
