Treatment of benzo[ b ]cyclohepta[ e ][1,4]oxazines ( 4 ) with 1.2 equiv. of tris(2‐aminoethyl)amine ( 13 ) in methanol at 80 °C gave 1,4,12,15,18,26,31,39‐octaazapentacyclo[13.13.13.0 5,11 .0 19,25 .0 32,3 ]pentetraconta‐4,6,8,10,18,20,22,24,31,33,35,37‐dodecacenes ( 14 ), armed tropocoronands ( 15 ), and tropopodands ( 16 ). The structure of tristropocryptand 14a was determined by the X‐ray diffraction method.
