The anionic copolymerization of hexaphenylcyclotrisiloxane (P 3 ) and hexamethylcyclotrisiloxane (D 3 ) under non‐equilibrium conditions was carried out for synthesizing a series of poly(diphenylsiloxane‐ stat ‐dimethylsiloxane) copolymers. The sequence analyses of these copolymers were studied. Sequence distribution up to the pentad level is observable in the 1 H NMR spectrum. The sequence distributions calculated from a pentad model by using Bovey's method, interpret the 1 H NMR spectra (SiCH 3 only) of all the copolymers very well. However, the triad model was only valid for relatively lower P 3 content (< 50 mol%) copolymers.
