Cyclopentylidene ketals of 3‐(D‐ erythro and L‐ threo ‐glycerol‐1‐yl) of l‐phenyl‐2‐pyrazoline‐4,5‐dione‐4‐phenylhydrazone and 1 ‐phenylflavazole were prepared. The location of the ketal ring on the glycerolyl residues was determined by NMR spectral analyses.
