The reaction of diethylmagnesium dioxane adduct solution with 1,1,1,3,3,3‐hexamethyldisilazan ((CH 3 ) 3 SiNHSi(CH 3 ) 3 ) gives {[(CH 3 ) 3 Si] 2 N} 2 MgO(CH 2 CH 2 ) 2 OMg{N[Si(CH 3 ) 3 ] 2 } 2 (1); this alkoxomagnesium silylamide in the solid state contains unprecedented three‐coordinate magnesium and oxygen atoms.
