In this review I summarize the research conducted in this enzymology laboratory. It includes purification, multiple forms, assay, activity‐staining, specificities, kinetics, modification, structure, mechanism, and regulation of the following enzymes: methionine S‐adenosyltransferase, aminoacyl‐tRNA synthetases, malic enzyme, alkaline phosphatase, acid phosphatase, and taxon‐specific crystallins.
