Thirty‐one mass spectra of the 3,4‐disubstituted sydnones have been measured under EI conditions. The fragmentation processes are cleavage of the 4‐substituent and a channel with loss of CO and NO. The competitive fragmentations depend upon the nature of the substituent on C(4).
