β‐Sitosterol, β‐sitosteryl palmitate, β‐sitosteryl‐ β‐D ‐glucoside and cyclolaudenol were isolated from the rhizomes, long chain aliphatic esters and an UV stabilizer, octabenzone, were isolated from the leaves of Coniogramme japonica .
