The protected hexapeptide (sequence 44‐49) and the protected tripeptide (sequence 50‐52) of Taiwan Cobra ( Naja naja atra ) venom cardiotoxin were synthesized by stepwise coupling and fragment coupling methods. The protected hexapeptide is Nps‐Lys(Z)‐Ser‐Ser‐Leu‐VaI‐Leu‐OMe and the protected tripeptides are Nps‐Lys(Z)‐Tyr(Bzl)‐Val‐OMe and Boc‐Lys(Z)‐Tyr(Bzl)‐VaI‐OMe.
