Acidic cyclization of 3′, 3″′‐linked 2′, 2″′‐dihydroxy‐4, 4′, 4″, 4″′, 6′, 6″′‐hexamethoxybichalcone (I) with alcoholic phosphoric acid gave a new naringenyl‐chalcon hexamethyl ether (II) along with hexa‐ O ‐methyl‐8,8″‐binaringenin.
