Mass spectrometric data were reported for 1,4‐; 1,5‐; 1,6‐; 1,7‐ and 2,6‐bis(trimethylsiloxy)naphthalenes. By the use of metastable‐ion measurement the major fragmentation pathways of the five compounds have been deduced. The doubly charged ion and ion‐molecule‐reaction ion were also discussed.
