The acid dissociation constants of substituted 8‐hydroxyquinolines and the stability constants of their chelates with Co(II), Ni(II), Cd(II), Zn(II) and Pb(II) have been determined. The Calvin‐Bjerrum potentiometric titration technique was used in studying the behavior of these substances.
