Infrared absorption spectra of eleven 8‐halogenoflavonoids, flavanone, and 2 ′‐hydroxychalcone in the region 3,500–3,650 cm −1 are observed with an Infracord Spectrophotometer in solid state. Absorption bands in the regions 3,500–1,400 cm −1 and 1,000–650 cm −1 are discussed.
