The formation of complex between uranyl ion and glycine was investigated by the polarographic method. A reversible and diffusion controlled reduction waves were observed over the p H range 1.7 to 5.0 when the glycinate concentration was 0.049 M to 0.393 M . The effect of p H and the concentration of chelating agent on the half‐wave potential has been determined. The chelate species and the electrode reactions have been established.
