A semianalytic method is presented for computing the concentration distribution in enzyme–substrate fast reaction systems. By means of this method, not only can much computation work be saved but a semianalytic expression for the concentration distribution will be obtained. This expression is very useful for analysis and discussion of the kinetic characteristics of this kind of reaction system.
