On page 2193 (DOI: 10.1002/jcc.24443 ), Sunghwan Choi, Oh‐kyoung Kwon, Jaewook Kim, and Woo Youn Kim investigate the performance of heterogeneous computing using graphics processing units and many integrated cores with 20 CPU cores. By comparing Hartree potential evaluations for silver nanoparticles of various sizes, they found that grid‐based electronic structure calculations could be maximally accelerated using a heterogeneous computer architecture.
