Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is becoming widely accepted as a way to improve business efficiencies. Its more recent extension, Financial EDI, is just beginning to capture attention. The benefits of EDI are too compelling to be ignored. This article examines the implications of a variety of Financial EDI alternatives and issues a call to action for corporate finance executives.
