It is clear that cyber warfare is taking place, with the Internet as the battlefield. There appears to be a growing number of cyber warfighters on the attack deployed throughout the worldwide Internet. The author, a former Marine with extensive experience in information system breaches and security, shares his concerns with corporate executives. He provides a lively exposition on current problems in international data security, and his experience as a Marine comes forth as he passionately warns corporate executives that they must address the cyber‐crime attacks their organizations are apt to face in the near future with effective leadership. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
