The global price tag for white‐collar crime (WCC) has reached $3.6 trillion annually. When WCC involves the computer and the Internet, it is called cybercrime—which received a boost with the onset of cloud computing. The authors discuss the risks of cloud computing, suggest some countermeasures, and provide a checklist that management can use to help prevent problems.
