As corporations expand to accommodate increased international trade, treasurers face new, tough problems. They are more challenged than ever to unlock working capital dispersed in multiple currencies and regions. The growth in global trade also means that treasurers must become more involved in day‐to‐day business operations. The authors look at treasury challenges in three key areas: the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
