The d/Deaf population is one that is underserved and underrecognized. Given the heightened mental health needs of this cultural group, it is critical that the counseling profession foster the professional training of d/Deaf counselor trainees. This case study provides a detailed description of the experience of a Deaf counselor trainee, hearing supervisor, and sign language interpreter in a supervision triad. The emergent themes focused on the continual development of relationships, challenges, and focus of supervision.
