Dysmetabolic iron overload syndrome is a rare event causing hepatic impairment with serious long‐term side effects. Here, we describe a case of metabolic syndrome‐related hepatic iron overload that showed a rapid, effective, and safe response to erythrocytapheresis. J. Clin.
