A miniature Raman probe was successfully developed and navigated through the lung architecture into the narrow peripheral airways. Using this probe and a home‐made rapid Raman spectroscopy system, in vivo Raman spectra were successfully obtained from the periphery lung for the first time. Further details can be found in the article by Hanna C. McGregor, Michael A. Short, Stephen Lam, et al. ( e201800055 ).
