Fluorescence‐mediated tomography (FMT) combined with micro‐computed tomography (μCT) enables non‐invasive assessment of the three‐dimensional distribution of near‐infrared fluorescence in mice. The cover image shows the μCT‐FMT scan of a mouse with a rectal insertion filled with μCT and fluorescent contrast agents. A reproducible in vivo protocol for assessing signal localization and sensitivity in deep tissue regions was established and used to evaluate standard and improved fluorescence reconstruction methods. Further details can be found in the article by S. Rosenhain, W. Al Rawashdeh, F. Kiessling, and F. Gremse on pp. 1208–1216.
