Automatic and accurate segmentation of cellular architectural properties for biomedical diagnosis based on Multiphoton microscopy (MPM) images is still a challenging issue. This Paper, a novel multiphoton microscopy images segmentation method based on Superpixels and watershed (MSW) shows great segmentation performance in extracted cell boundaries. What more, the method would potentially serve as an effective segmentation method for MPM images. Further details can be found in the article by Weilin Wu et al. on pp. 532–541.
