In vivo multimodal microscopy is used for detecting the contribution of bone‐marrow‐derived cells in skin regeneration. The article by Graf et al. demonstrates the use of a novel microscope capable of generating co‐registered multimodal images based on optical coherence tomography (grey), microvasculature phase‐variance imaging (red), second harmonic generation (blue), and two‐photon‐excited fluorescence (green) from GFP‐expressing bonemarrow‐derived cells.
