The Fall Meeting of GTA was held on 4 November 1982 at Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The theme of the program was in vivo/in vitro assays for unscheduled DNA synthesis (UDS) detection. The meeting was attended by about 100 members who heard three invited speakers, Gary Sega, Byron Butterworth and Michael Skinner, give talks on various aspects of UDS. These were complimented in the afternoon by a series of four contributed papers. The following are abstracts of the talks given by the main speakers.
