This paper exposes methodologies, based on testing strategies (Start‐Small and Multiple‐Clue), able to support two main steps of A irbus systems development process: formal specification validation activities and systems testing activities on A irbus Final Assembly Line (FAL). The experiments show that these methods can quantify testing efforts, guide functional tests definition, facilitate detailed design coverage activities and ease fault location.
