As systems engineers, we tend to take a focused, sequential approach to getting things done. We list the tasks that must be performed, determine which one to begin with, implement it, and move on to the next. We call this establishing priority, and accept this as the right way to achieve our goals. My experience with Integrated Product Development, Object Oriented Engineering and Formal Inspections suggests that sometimes you need a little something more – I call it triority , because making all three of these initiatives your top priority is the key to success.
