A Requirements and Architecture Definition Subprocess has been defined that provides an orderly and iterative definition of the problem and development of the solution. This subprocess consists of 5 activities comprising 40 tasks. The subprocess is described in the context of a larger Systems Engineering Process that has developed over the last six years and was designated by AT&T as a Best Current Practice.
