This paper is a case study of AIL's effort to improve its Systems Engineering (SE) Requirement Process. Improving the engineering process is a common company goal. Determining which subprocesses to improve first, and getting program and departmental engineering support can make the difference between acceptance and nonacceptance of change. An approach to achieving these goals is described, step by step, in this paper.
