This paper presents a case study on the implementation of a requirements verification database by the Systems Test Department on a large Westinghouse program. By selecting the appropriate requirements traceability tool, verification reports were created that provided visibility into the verification of approximately 3,000 requirements, improved the test procedure generation process, and enhanced communication. Making the database easily accessible to the test engineers ensured that all verification decisions were documented and all requirements accounted for.
