This program employs the procedures developed by Woodbury and Novick (1968) and Jackson and Novick (1969) for assigning lengths to the tests of a battery so as to maximize either the multiple or composite correlation with a specified criterion when the total length is fixed. The algorithms developed by Jackson and Novick (1969) to determine the least total battery length required to attain specified multiple or composite correlations are also incorporated in the program.
