Previous research indicates greater negative self–report is obtained under anger–arousing conditions than under neutral conditions. In the present study, a personality questionnaire was administered under anger–arousing and neutral conditions. Differences between item means under the two conditions corroborate previous findings. Item factor analysis results are found to differ systematically between the two conditions.
