Engineering graduates are expected to be not only technically proficient, but also to exhibit a sound commercial awareness and the ability to participate effectively as part of an integrated management team. This paper examines the way these important interpersonal skills can be developed with the use of a computerized business game. In particular it will focus on the way participation, as a team member, in the business game can facilitate the development of these vitally important personal skills.
