In this work we propose a super Fringe‐Field Switching (FFS) structure in which groove is formed between electrodes. With groove structure, both the threshold voltage V th and operation voltage V op of LCD display decrease by about 0.5 V. These improvements make great contribution to the power consumption of driving circuit and LCD panel.
