High PPI color filter LCOS is a challenging research topic. Such kind of device will induce several problems such as Fringing Field Effect, Low reflectance and Low color saturation. In this paper, a so‐called Double Mirror structure is proposed. It is found that all mentioned issues can be handled by such mirror structure. The full pixel size of the color filter LCOS can be shrunk down to 8um from 13.5um.
