The effect of threshold temperature on the phase transition of blue phase liquid crystals (BPLCs) is investigated that the electro‐optical properties can be affected by the threshold temperature. And the relationship between lattice formation process of BPLCs and temperature is also demonstrated that the heterogeneous lattice generation and the homogeneous lattice growth play different roles in phase transition process with different cooling rates.
