We have developed novel light‐diffusing films by forming two kinds of refractive‐index distribution structures inside a film. The depth of the non‐structural region, which appears near the surface, was controlled by the first UV irradiance. Moreover, the louver or column structures could be formed to this region by the second irradiation. This novel film has both isotropic and anisotropic diffusion property and will contribute to realize the new low power display systems.
