Recently, thinner cover glass is required, therefore to prevent fracture becomes more important. Sandpaper Ball Drop Test was newly established to evaluate front‐side‐origin fracture. It was found that CT and glass thickness are important parameters for front‐side‐origin fracture. This evaluation method contributes to designing glass with sufficient balance.
