In this paper, an effective synthesis route for CdSe/ZnS core/shell quantum rod fabricated by a single‐molecular precursor is introduced. From the experiment results, the optimum volume ratio of as‐prepared CdSe to ZnS raw material can be achieved of 1:1.7. The photoluminescence intensity of CdSe/ZnS increases to 3‐fold compared to CdSe.
